What is Workers’ Compensation?
Workers’ compensation is an insurance plan provided by companies to pay injured workers partial wages while they are recovering and unable to work. Along with receiving partial wages, injured employees are also entitled to medical benefits.
In theory, workers’ compensation is a simple process. In practice, the bureaucracy involved can be confusing and discouraging to the injured employee. Often to receive benefits, the employee is required to fill out paperwork, send in multiple doctors notes, and notify the workers’ compensation company when any changes arise. Juggling these tasks can be disheartening and difficult to manage while in recovery.
At Ramos Center, our dedicated workers’ compensation team works with our patients to ensure the proper paperwork is certified and turned in on time.
We encourage all of our patients to focus on health and recovery foremost. Our incredible doctors will work with you one-on-one to find pain management and physical therapy options that will work for you.
Unlike many practices, Ramos Center is committed to finding pain management solutions that will not leave our patients addicted or dependent on opioids. We work with each patient on an individual level to ensure we are finding solutions that will not only mask their pain but help them to achieve a full recovery.
Get Back to Work
Unfortunately, life doesn’t stop when we get hurt. Being injured inhibits work, restricts personal life, and can make daily tasks unmanageable.
