Dr. Ramos Discusses the HB21 Opioid Bill: Dr. Ramos, featured on Bay News 9, discusses the difference between treatment for pain in the early 2000’s and now. Following the new opioid law, doctors are not allowed to prescribe more than 3 days worth of opioids to patients with pain from a temporary medical emergency, or 7 days if deemed medically necessary. But what about those in chronic pain?
