Take the first step to improved pain management with a call and visit to our clinic.

Chronic pain often does not exist alone and is often accompanied by other health issues. This makes the treatment of this medical issue very challenging and complicated. Some pain management centers approach this from a single direction. At the Ramos Center for Interventional & Functional Pain Medicine, we focus on a variety of methods including psychological treatment, physical therapy, and medical interventions. Every patient’s chronic pain is different, so it requires an individualized pain management plan. Our plans often include cognitive, behavioral, and physical treatment methods. We want to restore the functionality of the limbs or areas of your body where chronic pain is preventing you from living a full life.

When you visit one of our pain management centers, you’ll be screened and tested so our doctors can pinpoint the source of your pain. We use state of the art diagnostic equipment so we can give you an accurate diagnosis the first time, instead of treating you via trial and error. Our doctors use the information from these diagnostic tests to develop a customized pain management plan.

A common problem chronic pain patients experience is the loss of functionality in a limb or an area of their body. These limitations significantly affect your overall quality of life. At our clinic, our pain management doctors work to restore this functionality by modulating pain responses and interrupting the reinforcements of pain behaviors. None of our pain management doctors believe medication is the solution to your chronic pain. Their goal is to reduce your need for medicines and reduce the severe symptoms of chronic pain while improving your overall quality of life.
