Ramos Center Marketing Manager Plays Key Role Getting Schools in Charlotte County Back Open
Port Charlotte, FL – October 14, 2022: The Ramos Center for Interventional and Functional Pain Medicine began providing help to those devastated by Hurricane Ian immediately after the record-breaking storm hit Florida’s Gulf Coast. They gathered much needed food and supplies and delivered them to those trapped by rising flood waters. But their work didn’t stop there. The Ramos Center is now partnering with local organizations who are providing hurricane relief to help affected communities get back on their feet.
When Regional Marketing Manager, Phil Adams, was given the chance to assist in the oversight, repair and rebuild of Charlotte County Schools, the leadership team at the Ramos Center saw a unique opportunity to help the community in a meaningful way. “There was a deep desire to help the community and we want to make sure our efforts are impactful,” said Dr. Fabian Ramos, Interventional Pain Specialist, and Medical Director at the Ramos Center. “We have a lot of talent at the Ramos Center, and we are thrilled to be able to share it with the community.
As a resident of North Port with six children, Adams has a profound understanding of the importance of getting children back to school. “These kids have been through a lot already with the pandemic, and so much school has been missed,” said Adams. “This opportunity was important to me, and it means a lot to have the Ramos Center’s support.
Adams will continue to serve in his role as a Regional Marketing Manager for the Ramos Center while focusing on assisting in the repair and reopening of 20 schools in the area. “Our best asset is the talented employees working for us and we are more than happy to share that talent with the community. Especially during times like these, when it requires the best and brightest”, said Cary Veith, PhD, Chief Executive Officer at the Ramos Center.
