Abraham J. Fura, D.O. Joins Ramos Center for Interventional & Functional Pain Medicine
Sarasota, FL – July 19, 2019 – The Ramos Center for Interventional & Functional Pain Medicine is proud to introduce the newest physician to our team, Dr. Abraham J. Fura.
Dr. Fura is Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He completed his Fellowship in Multidisciplinary Pain Management at the University of Rochester Medical Center. As an Anesthesiology Resident, he trained at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, where he was exposed to cutting edge technologies in the field of Pain Management. Dr. Fura spent four years in the Army as a reserves service member and eight years as an active duty Officer, with the final rank of Major on separation. He very much enjoyed taking care of our nation’s active duty military and their families.
As the very first D.O. (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine) on the Ramos Center team of physicians, Dr. Fura is excited to bring his unique, whole-person approach to the specialty of Pain Medicine. Dr. Fura will primarily be based out of the Ramos Centers brand new Sarasota (2540 S. Tamiami Trail) and Venice (1370 E. Venice Avenue; Suite 104) locations… both opening this Summer and covering our Bradenton (100 3rd Avenue West; Suite 110) location when needed.
Dr. Abraham J. Fura is specialized in a multitude of minimally invasive, interventional treatment options, including Spinal Cord Stimulation Neuromodulation. He is currently accepting new patients with most major medical insurances including Veterans Affairs Health Insurance at the Ramos Center. Dr. Fura is looking forward to establishing himself within the community and enjoying his new hometown on the Gulf Coast.
